Deformed calamities called "Otoshigo" (Fallen Spawn) appear in Kamizuru. Faced with unprecedented crises time and again, there were those who stood against them.

They perform the "Purification Ritual" to suppress the Otoshigo. However, the Purification Ritual requires paying a cursed "price." Hisaya Saino fights with everything he has to fulfill his mission.

Hisaya wields "inhuman power" against the Otoshigo looming before him. Each time he fights, each time he protects, loss spreads, one by one. Even so, his resolve remains unwavering in order to protect the city and his comrades. Even if it means losing something more precious than life as the price.

An unfamiliar ○○ appears before Hisaya, who is wearing himself down and rushing towards his fate. But ○○ knew. She had come this far to meet him.
